Prindle Pond Conference Center

Located on 500 lovely wooded acres on the shore of Prindle Pond in Charlton, Massachusetts, Prindle Pond Conference Center offers clean, comfortable accommodations and ample space for classes, jams, concerts, and vendors.  The Center is fully handicapped accessible.

The dining hall specializes in healthy, delicious home-cooked meals.  Vegetarian options are available at every meal.

There are two campuses at the Center, Hilltop and Pondside.  We will be using both campuses for classes, which are just a short walk apart.  Campers will be lodged in dorms on both campuses.  There are two bunk beds in most of the rooms, but campers will be lodged two-to-a-room so no one has to take an upper bunk.  However, if you are in a group of three or four that would like to room together, you are more than welcome to use the uppers.  Rooms on the Hilltop campus have private baths.

The Center does not provide any bedding, so please be sure to bring towels, sheets, pillows, and a blanket or sleeping bag with you. The buildings are heated, so you don’t have to worry about our unpredictable New England weather.

Thursday night lodging is available for those traveling from a distance, whether by car, train or plane.  Jamming with students and faculty invariably breaks out, and just hanging out is a nice, relaxing way to transition from the work-a-day world into the intensive learning experience at camp.  Please note that meals are not available on Thursday.

Local accommodations are available in nearby Sturbridge and the surrounding area for those who want to bring the family or just prefer more privacy. A good place to start looking is www.sturbridge.com

RVs are welcome, but there are no electrical hook-ups, water or waste facilities on site.  If you’d like to look into local campgrounds, there are several available, including Wells State Park.  Just google “Sturbridge area campgrounds” for plenty of options.
