Tom Rozum


Tom Rozum, a renowned mandolinist and vocalist, is also accomplished on fiddle, mandola and guitar.  A long-time fixture on the Bay Area music scene, he has played and sung with Laurie Lewis since 1986 when they joined forces in the original Grant Street Band.  Since 1992 he has been on staff at Bluegrass on the Beach, an Oregon coast music camp led by Lewis.  Their 1996 duet album The Oak and the Laurel, was nominated for a Grammy.  His solo album, Jubilee, covers little-known country music by Merle Haggard, the Louvin Brothers and Bill Monroe, as well as contemporary songs by such writers as David Olney and Mark Simos.
